Highs and Lows..

So we bought a new car on Wednesday, she is a beautiful Toyota Camry, and I am thrilled. I finally have the keyless entry I have always yearned for instead of having to physically LOCK all 4 doors each time we get in and out... but god is definitely playing a joke on us as now I have to OPEN all 4 doors for the kids to get in, as the doors on the new car are too heavy for the kids to open by themselves!!!!! Anyway, it drives like a dream and lo and behold patience IS a virtue as I have basically held out on my price for my old car (after being low balled by 2 people) and have hopefully got a buyer who is more than willing to pay the price I am asking.... he is due to come tomorrow to seal the deal - watch this space....

So by Thursday we have some bad news from Daves work and then Friday (today) I am helping a frantic neighbor whose dog (that they have had for 10 years) gets run down and I have to be the one to go and tell her and help her stretcher the dog to car so she can take it to the vets. Unfortunately for that little dog, her time was up and she is now resting peacefully with god...

This week has sure been a mix of highs and lows... I am just waiting for the next curveball to be thrown my way...

I think Erika needs you to watch all 5 of her kids and her pregnant cat for a week. . .lol is that a big enough curve ball to last you for awhile?!

So when we were driving home last night from the golds' house, Sam asks me "mommy can we get a baby?", like I can just pull one out of a hat or something... I guess he really adores Addy as he couldn't stop talking about her and I think Erika and my joke about exchanging Abby's GAP jacket for Addy was really taken seriously by Sam... lol. I preceded to explain that we were cetainly NOT having any more babies, but that it was just nice to adore other peoples', and then went on to explain about all the poopy diapers and sleepless nights we would have to endure, thinking that this would throw him off the scent... oh no... Sam offered to change the poopy diapers, but there was no offer to get up in the middle of the night, he likes his sleep too much - lol...

When I take your family pictures, I'm gonna zoom in on Sam. SOOO SWEET! Loved both posts about him.
