So uncool....

So today, I lost every ounce I ever had of being cool...

Basically, I was driving Sam to school this morning and my friend Amy and her kids Kristen and Jake were behind us on our way into the drive thru. So Abby and Sam are so excited about this that they are bouncing up and down waving and shouting "Kwisten, Kwisten, Kwisten is behind us". I guess the excitement got to me as well as I went to frantically stick my head and arm outta my window and wave, only to find that my window was closed, and yes, you guessed it, I smashed my head against the window. At that point all you can think about is "ok, who saw me do that?" and I looked at the line of parents behind me and it seemed like EVERY SINGLE ONE was looking my way... needless to say I drove away as fast I could with what little dignity I had left and a very sore head!

oh, I am sooo uncool sometimes...

I thought you looked a little frazzled that day when I passed you in your car, leaving the preschool--you had that "embarrassed look" on your face!! I wish I had been there to make fun of you!

Missy can teach you how to be cool. Her patent phrase is:

"I'm so cool."

Adaline was messing with me one day while I was pulling out of Applebys and she pulled up right behind me and started honking so I thought, "I'd be so FUNNY and SOOO COOL" and give her the bird. I went to do it and saw another car coming towards me in the parking lot and at that instant thought, "They're not going to realize I'm playing around when I give Adaline the bird." So I had my hand out the window in a HALF BIRD, and pulled it back in real quick and waved at the car.
I wish my window WERE up!

No, no bruise, just a bruised ego... ;-)
